Frances Cosgrove MD

Frances Cosgrove, MD received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame in 2001. She then attended Indiana University School of Medicine, where she received her medical degree in 2005. She completed a transitional intern year at St. Vincent Hospital of Indianapolis and then completed her ophthalmology residency at Indiana University School of Medicine in 2009. She is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Indiana Academy of Ophthalmology, the Indiana State Medical Association and the Indianapolis Medical Society.

She enjoys practicing comprehensive ophthalmology which includes complete eye exams for children and adults as well as evaluating and treating patients for glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. She specializes in no stitch, no shot cataract surgery and performs some minor eyelid procedures as well.

Dr. Cosgrove is married to her husband, Jason, who is a pediatrician in the Indianapolis area, and they have one son, Carter. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, travelling and cooking.
